By using WasteAI ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. AI Classification Disclaimer

WasteAI uses AI to provide waste sorting guidance. Classification results are informational only and may not be accurate in all cases. You are solely responsible for verifying the correct disposal method for any item. Always defer to your local municipality's official recycling guidelines when in doubt.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to:

• Upload images containing explicit, harmful, or illegal content
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limiting on the service
• Use the service for any purpose other than personal waste sorting guidance
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts or system configuration

4. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The app may be unavailable at times due to maintenance or third-party service outages.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WasteAI and its creators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the app, including incorrect waste classification results, improper disposal, fines, or any indirect or consequential damages.

6. Third-Party Services

The app relies on OpenAI and BigDataCloud to function. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of these third-party services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
